Notes: This bike was
done for a Spastic Designs customer using vector artwork printed on 16
mil vinyl with a thermal printer.
The stars on the sides, tank, front, and tail are cut out of the vinyl
but not cut out of the protective laminate clear that is applied
over the vinyl base. This allows the painted bodywork to show through
the vinyl in the star shapes. By keeping the laminate clear instead of
cutting it out with the vinyl base, I avoided having sharp edges that
could collect dirt or possibly peel over time due to scratching or
rubbing. |
